4 STAR REVIEW:
Another MC story to add to the amazing list of MC stories Bella Jewel has written. Desolation is the story of Pippa, sister to Santana, and the courageous Tyke.
Pippa is trying to adjust to the outside world after many years in captivity. Tyke is trying to adjust to the world outside of his wheelchair. Together they are able to heal their broken hearts and souls.
Tyke was kind of an alpha male at times. He was very dominating when it came to Pippa but that seemed to be exactly what Pippa needed. Pippa was shy and recluse when the story started and it seemed Tyke was able to break her out of her shell. I did like the story of Tyke and everyone around Pippa being able to bring her out of her old ways and bring her into the now.
Pippa did annoy me at times because she did sometimes appear to be clueless. Her and Tyke were very much a love hate relationship for me.
The writing was great like always when you read a Bella Jewel book. The story was a decent length where I didn't feel like it drug but was fast enough for me to read in one day. I do wish we were given more in terms of the epliogue and ending for this MC story series but I did enjoy the book itself.
Bella Jewel just shows why she deserves to be in the running for Queen of the MC stories!
