Review:
I absolutely loved reading the first book in the series but I missed the raw, dirty part of the MC. Although the story was beautiful, I wanted a little more from the characters and I needed the MC world to come out a little more.
Faye is this adorable spitfire. She loved hard and her heart shattered at the worst time in her life. She trusted but once that was broken, it was hard to trust again! Dex was her childhood friend that loved and protected her. I mean come on, who wouldn't protect the girl who gave the best tea parties?
Dex was lost when he joined the MC. He was never accepted by his family and they made him feel "smaller" than them. It was almost like they were much better than them and he was the black sheep. He loved his brothers and they loved him. He was the VP but once he found Faye, he was not going to let her go. I don't think he knew that he fell in love with her when they were children. His brother was the odd man out. He wasn't strong, he wasn't lovable and he wasn't Dex.
Faye and Dex and a love story like no other. It didn't start off as such but we slowly witnessed this amazing love story that would make you melt. They fought and fought but LOVE won!! They faced a lot together and on their own!!
The other characters in the story are so funny and I can't wait to get to know them all more.
