Reviews & Giveaway! Fading Out & The Darkest Part by Trisha Wolfe

Book #3
Releasing: February 18, 2015
Can be read as a stand-alone.
Love means fading out so another shines brighter.
Right clothes. Right school. Right fiancé. As a Wyndemere, Arian's expected to abide by the rules. The most important: be perfect. But Arian's seemingly flawless life is far from it. An embarrassing expulsion from her parents' alma mater spirals an already unhealthy obsession out of control, exposing a dark truth.
Faced with having to attend a small private college after a stint in rehab, Arian's just ready to coast under the radar and repair some of the wreckage, but her father's looming control is like a vise choking off her air supply.
When a run-in with Braxton's beloved star quarterback, Ryder Nash, puts Arian squarely in the crosshairs of his devoted teammates, the last of her controlled, orderly world unhinges. As the pranks and paybacks escalate, Arian and Ryder's rivalry takes a passionate turn. And once Arian glimpses beneath the all-star-athlete exterior Ryder projects, she realizes he's far more than just a jock.
As their relationship intensifies, outside forces feel the threat. Outrunning their pasts doesn't mean history won't repeat itself, but Ryder can't let that happen. He's just one Championship game away from breaking the mold. Only one moment, one choice, might change everything.

Review:
Trisha Wolfe has brought us another awesome New Adult story in Fading Out. If there is one thing this author does well, it's writing a story with a little bit of angst and a whole lot of passion.
Fading Out is the story of Arian, a girl so not in control of her life and expected to live by her father's standards. Until one day, a series of events causes Arian to be expelled, and sent to rehab, her seemingly perfect word spiraling out of control.
Enter the fiery and fierce Ryder Nash. To say he and Arian are frienemies, may be a huge stretch.. They completely dislike each other and make it known with jokes and pranks with that little bit of flirt mixed right in. The chemistry between these two was HOT. Smoking! They were passionate.. I loved that.  I loved the dynamic between the two. I don't want to give too much away. But this book was fun, flirty with just that right level of heartache and angst to make it great,
Trisha Wolfe is famous to me at least for not just writing about hearts and flowers but about the hard points in life. Her books delve sometimes into the dark that others may be afraid to touch on. It's what makes her New Adult books stand out to me and make the writing in them so fabulous.
This book was just that. Beautiful and broken. It carried all the qualities the other books in this series did and made it probably one of my favorite things about this book and this authors writing.
I can't wait to see what comes next from the pen and mind of Trisha Wolfe.

Especially from Sam, the only woman he’s ever loved. And as Sam starts to unravel the truth, she begins to question if the brother she's unwillingly falling for again is in an even darker place than her.

Review:
The Darkest Part was the first book I have read by Author Trisha Wolfe and I really enjoyed it. It was a book of a different element, because instead of having just almost a second chance love story, it had the elements of paranormal but not overly where this book could be considered a paranormal.

I felt for our main character Sam from the very beginning. Besides her having a name that is very unisex, I loved the depth I felt in all of her emotions! She had such a perverse reaction to losing the "love of her life", Tyler. I felt her sorrow, her pain, and her raw lonliness. I loved that I could feel those elements of the main heroine.

As much as Tyler seemed like the hero you would and could easily fall in love with, I fell harder for Holden. I loved that he was the badboy that I could see in my every day life and one I very could easily fall in love with in my life... He was my ideal guy with his issues and all.

I enjoyed the sorrow and pain in each character and the way that they tried so desperately to put themselves back together... and I LOVED that Holden and Sam used each other to do it.

Trisha Wolfe told such a deep and beautiful story in The Darkest Part. I felt the story in my soul. I felt like the book was really well told and I thought how Trisha told the point of views from each person was well put together that there wasn't a chance for me to get lost in this book...

I did get lost, but in a good way. I really am hoping that I get the chance to read the first book in this series, as well as the upcoming third book. I could see myself falling and loving these characters that this author produces.

This book is a standalone. BUT if you like this review and the sounds of this book, I recommend like I am going to do, going back and reading book one. It sounds fab... This book was emotional and gripping and I can see the others being the exact same way!

Book #2
Released: October 2014
Can be read as a stand-alone.
Sometimes you have to lose your way before finding the right track.
The roar of a bike engine. The vibration between her thighs. The feel of cool darkness kissing her skin as she coasts along twisty back roads at night—Melody Lachlan lives for these things. Ever since Mel and her best friend Darla escaped their small, backwoods town, they’ve traveled the countryside in search of fast rides, tatted bikers, and good times.
A self-proclaimed poet and lover of all things free, Mel views her life as one long bike ride—with pit stops along the way to numb the pain. But she never saw herself as a junkie. Party as hard as you ride. That’s her motto…until a tragic night steals her soul. Then she’s forced to delve below the surface, to where her demons rage.
When she meets recovered drug addict Boone Randall, she’s more likely to deck him than kiss his dimple-adorable face. She doesn’t want his help; doesn’t want to own up to her part in that night. She just wants to do her time and keep her promise to her friend. Yet Boone challenges Mel, and soon she doesn’t mind sharing the road. Only when Boone’s own secret demons threaten their newfound, fragile security, Mel’s course becomes rocky, and she must decide if letting her well-worn track marks fade is worth finding a new path.
Told from Dual point of view from Melody and Boone, this is a New Adult Contemporary Romance intended for readers seventeen years of age and older.
