5 Star Review--The Consequences of Sin by K.A. Robinson

COSBanner

Synopsis
When the sun disappeared, the world was cast in shadows, hiding the evil that lay in wait. When it was dark, I hunted. The shadows caressed my body as I did things I could never do in the light of day. Eighteen-year-old Bree Bowen has spent her entire life training and working as one of her father’s assassins. Fear has kept her and her best friend, Wes, under her father’s thumb—until now. When Wes takes matters into his own hands, securing Bree a new identity and a plane ticket to America, he gives her the one chance she’s been desperately seeking. Learning to live a new life isn’t easy. Add in her new roommate, Reid, who just happens to be a stripper, and things start to get a little crazy. Falling for a man has never been part of her plan, but she can’t seem to stay away from Reid. When Bree’s past comes crashing back into her life, secrets that she’s fought to keep hidden are revealed, and she’s forced to choose between Reid and the life she could have with him, or Wes, the one man who has always loved her unconditionally. Regardless of her choice, she must learn the consequences of sin. This book will be a standalone.

Review:

When you can't and I do mean can't put a book down, you know it's a 5 star read!! I have to say Author KA Robinson did a phenomenal job. I have read it two times and can't wait for the next book.

Bree lived a life that no other child her age, other than her best friend, Wes did. She was not ordinary and I think it made her a better character.  Bree was terrified of defying the one person who should love her like no other, her father.  Growing up in the life that she has, there wer perks and non of them were at her disposal.

After too many events and a life changing issue that would leave her scarred for life, she had to get away and become her own person.  Once the life was behind her, she became this new person who I loved.  She was new to everything so she had to learn as she went but she excelled. She found a home, a roommate and eventually made a few friends.

Bree was able to get out of her shell with the help of Reid.  Reid is a quite guy but he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Reid allows Bree to be who she is and they make great roommates.  Things change when a lot of things start happening and they are in for the time of their "lives".

Will there feelings grow into something special? Will pasts affect how they feel for each other?

I LOVED this story.  When you find a book that pulls you in and you can't stop reading...you've got a 5 star read.
