4.5 Star Review & Giveaway---The Next Sin by Georgia Cates

Bleu MacAllister is in hiding less than three months when Sinclair Breckenridge discovers her whereabouts. Her former lover, the future leader of a criminal organization known as The Fellowship, resists the tug of his heart heartstrings in her direction. Instead, he opts to watch over his beloved from afar. And she has no idea. But Sin's sacrifice is short-lived. His bonny lass is a hunted traitor. He fears Abram's assassins are closing in, leaving him with one solution for saving Bleu--make her his wife. Marriage seems an easy fix for their dilemma but wedded bliss is brief when the couple finds trouble lying in wait beyond the realm of the brotherhood. Will the original revenge seeker find herself the object of collateral damage?

Excerpt:

Sinclair’s POV

I’m in the background of Bleu’s life, as I have been for weeks. I have eyes on her at all times, even when they’re not my own. I safeguard her from harm. It’s all I’ve done since tracking my lass down in a small town in Mississippi, right outside of Memphis. I act as her protector from afar and she has no idea. She believes she’s hidden from The Fellowship—and me—but she couldn’t be more wrong. I’m always here, keeping a watchful eye on her and the MacAllister family.

I often need to be reminded that this is Bleu’s world. Every person she has contact with isn’t a threat but there’s an enormous problem with that. I have no idea who’s friend or foe.

I was concerned when Bleu disappeared at the bar with a man earlier tonight. I was on the verge of barging into the back until my lass came out on stage to perform with the band. I don’t think I’ve ever been so surprised in all my life. I knew she played but I never pegged her for a public performer. That doesn’t seem like my Bonny at all.

But I guess I don’t really know the real Bleu MacAllister. I only know the woman she pretended to be.

Review:

I can't imagine this series getting better but Author Georgia Cates did just that. The Next Sin has yet again knocked me down and I landed happily!!

Sin is still the dominant male who can control himself and Bleu as best as he can.  Sin faced so many things with his family, especially his uncle when he fell in love with Bleu.  After The Necessary Sin, I didn't know what would happen and if Bleu would make it to her family but she did. Life was hard without her better half but she made it through.

When lightening struck, it did hard. Bleu wasn't herself because half of her heart was missing.  Although Sin and his family was a job to her, she had fallen in love.  She needed him and he needed her.  He needed her so much that he found her and things started where they left off.

The love they have is explosive but also comes with struggles.  So many events take place and apart, they would have never survived but together they are strong. I loved the family dynamic between Sin's family and Bleu.  They truly love her and want nothing but the best for her.  Sin's mom is the best thing that could have happened to Bleu. She's funny and she's an alpha female. She knows her place but she will do what needs to be done to protect those she loves.

When I say you will love this story, it is an understatement.  There is a cliff hanger but it's one that you understand why it's there. I can't wait for the next book to see how everything comes together. I love Sin and Bleu!!

Author Bio:

Georgia resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasn’t looked back yet.

When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. When she’s being domestic, she’s listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.
