Chains is a different kind of fighter story. Chains follows Tyler Graves, from his abusive past to his MMA future. He constantly thinks of the events that led him to the MMA and the one person he left bbehind to deal with the abuse he also suffered daily, Danielle Debasco.
Chains is Tyler's mission to getting his Princess Danielle back. This story was rough around the edges, it took on darker turns, it talked about taboo subject, but you know what, it worked for this story!
Chains follows Tyler on his mission to save Danny and see if the girl he left behind is still there. I liked this book. It was a smooth, quick read. This was also the first book I have read by this author and I liked her writing style a lot. She wasn't afraid to touch on stuff that most would shy away from.
I liked Tyler. He was tough, he was determined and he had loved Danny his whole life and that's something hard to find in the situautions they were put into.
This book was a solid 3 and a half stars for me. While I liked it, I didn't love it. I wasn't fond of the fairy tale aspect on the book, I felt like I was reading two different stories so at times I caught myself skimming over those. But all in all, I really enjoyed the idea and concept of the story so that more than made up for it.
If you want a hot fighter with a bad temper, look no further because Tyler is just that and Chains is sure to take you on a wild ride.
