{Review & Giveaway} What's Left of Me by Amanda Maxlyn

Life works in mysterious ways.
Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

5 star REVIEW!

When I first started reading What’s Left Of Me, I thought the character would overcome her issue and then we’d a get hot and steamy romance. Well we got the hot and steamy romance and the issue was not overcome.

I cried a lot for Aundrea and her struggle to truly love someone and let someone into her heart. When she met Parker, it was only for a night and in her head, that was it. Unfortunately, life had other plans for her.

Aundrea wanted to be like everyone else. She wanted to be normal. Live a normal life and be a genuinely happy person. She was diagnosed with cancer.

“It can break you. Or it can make you stronger. I choose stronger. I choose survival.”

Parker was the only person that brought her back from the slump she was in. She fought and fought to not attach herself so she wouldn’t leave him alone but he won her heart and soul.

“You own me, Aundrea. As much as it pains me you couldn't tell me, I couldn't walk away from you even if I tried. The second I laid eyes on you that night, through the mirror, I knew it."

Parker showed her that no matter what she is battling, he will battle it with her head on. She is not alone and will never be alone again. He loved her unconditionally. Through everything that she battled, he was there and would always be.

Amanda Maxlyn wrote a phenomenal book! I’m not sure if this was Katie’s story but if so, she is so proud of you!! Kudos for an awesome story of love, heartache and at times heartbreak!!
